SATURDAY, JULY 26, 2008
Golf, Tennis, Cards, and Spa Day 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Experience paradise at Eagle’s Landing Country Club where you will arrive by deluxe motor coach and choose to play golf, tennis, or cards, OR be escorted to the nearby Solace Spa where you can enjoy a variety of services in a most serene environment. Eagles Landing is a private club with an 18-hole golf course, located approximately twenty-five minutes from the downtown Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel. Enjoy breakfast and lunch to complement a day of unparalleled recreation.
Cost: Golf package: $250.00; Game package (whist, bridge, pinochle): $75.00; Tennis package: $80.00; Spa package: $60.00 plus cost of specific spa services.

SATURDAY, JULY 26, 2008
Black Heritage Tour 12:00 noon – 4:30 p.m.
Get on board a deluxe and spacious air-conditioned motor coach and head for unforgettable visits to three historic Atlanta sites: Paschal’s Restaurant, MLK Historic Center, and Morehouse College. The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site, includes King’s birth home, the Ebenezer Baptist Church, and the gravesites of Dr. King and his wife, Mrs. Coretta Scott King. Other tour sites of significance include the APEX (African-American Panoramic Experience) Museum, Atlanta Life Insurance Company, and Herndon Home.
Tour package includes admission and guided tour of MLK Museum and lunch at Paschal’s. Cost: $65.00

African-American Home Tour 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Exquisite homes and fine treasured art characterize the African-American Home Tour especially planned for people of impeccable taste! Acclaimed African-American artists such as Benny Andrews, Hale Woodruff, Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Sam Gilliam, Jacob Lawrence, Frank Frazier, and Radcliffe Bailey will be showcased on this enviable tour! The afternoon will include refreshments of heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshing coolers.

SUNDAY, JULY 27, 2008
City Tour 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Emerge yourself in the incredible beauty of Atlanta as you enjoy a luxury motor coach tour of three salient landmarks in the ATL: the High Museum of Art, which houses the Southeast’s best collection of fine art; CNN, where you’ll observe the behind-the-scenes elements of 24-hour news, live, and participate in an interactive exhibit area; and Underground Atlanta, where you’ll enjoy unique entertainment by Atlanta’s talented residents, caricature drawings, and fortune telling, homemade candy, delicious dining, and souvenir shopping.

Sizzling Sounds of the South in “Hotlanta” 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Take a break from the formality of the Convention and enjoy the sounds of cool jazz while savoring a delectable luncheon. The music will be performed by highly regarded jazz musicians. Enjoy the live pulse of the afternoon with great rhythms providing the perfect recipe for escape.  The venue and the atmosphere will certainly be relaxing, just as the doctor ordered.

MONDAY, JULY 28, 2008
City Tour 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
